Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Fast Food Apps in the US

As we delve into the second quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps continue to serve up varied performances on the Android platform in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these apps are faring in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Starting with McDonald's Offers and Delivery, we see a consistent uptick in both downloads and active users. Downloads began at around 44K in the first week of April and surged to over 66K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, increasing from approximately 300K to 346K during the quarter.

Burger King® Mexico showed more fluctuation in its download numbers, starting the quarter with about 24K downloads and peaking at 55K in mid-May, followed by a drop to 13K by the end of June. Active users peaked at 170K in mid-May but ended the quarter at around 99K, indicating some volatility in user engagement.

KFC México had a more modest performance, with downloads starting at roughly 20K and experiencing a high point of 39K in early May, before settling at about 22K by late June. Weekly active users saw a high of 176K in early May but ended the quarter with 145K active users.

Little Caesars maintained a steady pace with downloads beginning at 18K and reaching over 21K by the end of June. The weekly active users showed a slight increase from 79K to 85K over the same period.

Lastly, Starbucks México experienced a mixed bag, with downloads starting strong at 22K, dipping to 14K in early May, then dropping significantly to just under 5K by the end of June. The active user base started at 232K, peaked at 239K in late May, and concluded the quarter at 207K.
